After graduating magna cum laude with an AB in Biology from Dartmouth College, Dr. Chynn received his MD from Columbia University’s College of Physicians & Surgeons—the top medical school in NYC. He was then accepted (from 800 applicants) for Residency in Ophthalmology at Harvard University—the most famous program in the US.
Dr. Chynn then completed a Fellowship in Corneal Transplantation & Refractive Surgery at Emory University under George Waring, MD—one of the most famous surgeon in the world!
Dr. Chynn has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and books, including first authorship in the top 3 journals in the world (Ophthalmology, American Journal of Ophthalmology, and Archives of Ophthalmology), as well as The New York Times, New York Magazine, and USA Today. He was Principal Investigator of the FDA trial of the 1st solid-state laser! Dr. Chynn is certainly “state-of-the-art”!
